Soldiers Atop the Mount

Reenactors honor the 250th anniversary of the 1776 building and garrisoning of Mount Independence during this living history weekend. Saturday’s popular interactive Baldwin Trail Walkabout, 10:30 to 1:30, features experts at trail stations bringing history to life. Demonstrations of military tactics, skills, and camp life.
